University origins
NeurekaLab was born in 2014 as a joint research project between the University of Barcelona (UB) and the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC), with the aim of harnessing technology to improve the detection of and intervention in learning difficulties.
After five years of research and scientific validation, in 2019 it was established as a university spin-off, bringing this knowledge directly to schools, families and professionals.
Our research line, part of the Technology, Inclusion and Health group (UVic-UCC) and the Institute of Neurosciences (UB), has produced peer-reviewed scientific publications, clinical studies and evidence on how our products work and how effective they are.
